瑞巌寺の北側に位置する展望台で、松島湾内全てを正面から見渡せる。
一尺(約30センチ)登るごとに景観の趣が変わっていくところが特徴。
山頂にある展望台からは、福浦橋を正面に松島湾が広がり、さらに松島の中心街も見渡せる。
Located on the north side of Zuiganji Temple, it offers a frontal view of all of Matsushima Bay. The view changes with each foot (about 30 centimeters) of ascent. From the observatory at the top of the mountain, you can see Matsujima Bay with Fukuura Bridge in front of it, as well as the central town of Matsushima.
