Ogama (Oreishi)
陸中海岸国立公園のなかでも男性的な景観美として名高い。海中から空に向かってそびえる高さ１６ｍ、幅３ｍの大理石の石柱は、明治２９年の大津波の際に先端２ｍが折れたことからその名が付いたと言われる。東日本大震災の津波にも耐え、復興の象徴となっている。
It is located on the east coast of the Karasu Peninsula, which protrudes east of Kesennuma Bay. On the coast of the limestone layer of the base of the Kitakami mountain range, it forms a so-called Rias type peculiar shoreline unique to Sanriku
